Syria Emergency Relief

According to various sources, 300,000 Syrians are facing displacement to the borders. Countless number of individuals are leaving with only the clothes on their backs, fleeing Raqqa, Amuda, and other cities.

Here is what you need to know about the conflict:

“We are extremely concerned about the situation, and such escalation will threaten the lives and welfare of the civilians in Syria.” Wejdan Jarrah, UMR MENA Regional Director.

UMR and its partners have been delivering aid to Syrian Refugees and displaced families since 2015 including food, flour, medical aid, as well as medical missions. UMR is monitoring the situation closely.

Our staff in UMR regional office in Jordan are prepared for potential increase of patients and displaced families linked to the conflict, and are ready to respond to the acute needs with food parcels and medical aid.
