Qurbani Meat Distribution

Eid al-Adha is just around the corner, so it’s time to make your Qurbani payment! Every year, we commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to Allah by sacrificing sheep, goats or cows, and distribute this meat to the poor and needy around the world.

In 2018, thanks to your generous Qurbani payments, we were able to continue the sacred tradition and feed tens of thousands of hungry people.

We provided Qurbani meat to a total of 19,751 families, some of which include 4,100 families in Gaza, 920 Syrian refugee families sheltering in Jordan, 5,048 families in Kenya, and 3,160 families across various regions in India.

Help us feed even more people this Qurbani.
Millions of families around the world have to face Eid al-Adha hungry and malnourished. With your help, we can change this!

For just $60, you can give a whole family the gift of Qurbani and continue the legacy of Prophet Ibrahim. This may be the only time of the year that some families are able to eat meat.

Every year UMR carries out thousands of Qurbanis on behalf of donors and distributes the meat to vulnerable families. Many of these families are only able to enjoy meat once a year at the time of Eid al-Adha.

This year we will perform Qurbani in 17 countries and aim to reach tens of thousands of families living in poverty, struggling to survive in conflict zones or suffering as a result of natural disasters. UMR takes great care to perform Qurbani on your behalf in accordance with the Sunnah.

Throughout Ramadan, UMR continued its life-saving work with Syrian Refugees in Jordan and Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh by providing food parcels to displaced people. This year, on Eid al-Adha, UMR will continue to serve them by delivering your Qurbani meat.

Last year, thanks to your donations, UMR provided Qurbani meat for 19,751 families.

Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas reported that the Prophet (pbuh) said, “The believer is not he who eats his fill while his neighbor is hungry.” [Bukhari]
