Bangladesh (Rohingya Refugees)
Over half a million Rohingya people from Myanmar have sought shelter in Bangladesh, having been displaced and unable to return to their homes since communal violence erupted there in August 2017. They are putting up in makeshift camps, most of them are the elderly, women and children and they urgently need basic healthcare. They need your help.
UMR and partners is implementing critical programs in support of the Rohingya people’s health. We provide the Rohingya people with primary health consultations and check-ups as well treatment which include medicine and medical supplies. An average of 400 beneficiaries are impacted from these services every day.
