UMR UNIVERSITY CHAPTERS

At UMR we are immensely proud of the fact that in 2013 we successfully transitioned from being a student led humanitarian movement to being a professionally staffed organization while maintaining our strong student movement roots.

UMR has a national network of campus and community based chapters across the United States. These are comprised of students passionate about community service and development. Chapters serve their local communities to make them a better place to live while also supporting UMR’s international initiatives through advocacy, youth mobilization, trainings and fundraising.

Tickets are $25 if purchased before the dinner and $30 if purchased at the door. Admission for children 10 and under is $10 and includes babysitting and pizza.
Group ticketing can only be done before the dinner and will be $20 per adult and $10 per child. A group consists of 4 to 8 people.
Donation/Ticket link: coming soon
If you can’t come to the dinner, you can still donate at the same link above!

As the conflict in Syria enters its sixth year, a political solution is still to be found. Over 200,000 people have been killed and over one million injured. More than half of all Syrians have been forced to leave their homes, often multiple times, making Syria the largest displacement crisis globally.

Five years after the outbreak of the Syria conflict, UMR is assisting Syrian refugees and Syrians trapped by the violence inside the country. We provide medical and other critical aid, such as food aid, winter packs, clean water and education resources. UMR is currently providing support to Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Syria.

For just $100 you can help us provide medication for over 50 patients.

For just $90 you can provide food for an entire family for a month.

For just $1500 we can support a dental clinic for an entire month.

All proceeds from the dinner will be donated directly to these causes. Inshallah we hope to see you there!
