Giving Tuesday is more than just a day of giving. It is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of organizations. The goal is to transform communities across the world.
Celebrated after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving. It is created to inspire people to #giveback after days of consuming and shopping and spending.
“#GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea. A day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement. It inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.”

UMR + GivingTuesday
Last year, UMR raised over $40,000 on Giving Tuesday alone – this year, our goal is to double that number. All donations given for Giving Tuesday will go towards our 2020 winterization campaign.
UMR will be providing winter kits to families with the immediate need to survive the cold. By supporting UMR’s Winter Campaign on GivingTuesday, you will be providing children and families in the US, as well as Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Bangladesh, and Egypt with:
