Somalia
Somalia continues to face severe humanitarian challenges due to prolonged drought, ongoing conflict, and economic instability.
In 2024, an estimated 6.9 million people require humanitarian aid, a slight decrease from the previous year but still a significant portion of the population.
These challenges have led to food shortages, a weakened healthcare system, and widespread water scarcity, all of which disproportionately affect vulnerable communities, including children, women, and the elderly.
