Ramadan

One of UMR’s most significant initiatives is our annual Ramadan program, a cornerstone of our humanitarian efforts. From war-torn Gaza to famine-stricken Yemen, UMR is committed to alleviating suffering across the globe. Our Ramadan programs address immediate needs while also empowering women and children to build resilience and independence in times of crisis.

Our approach goes beyond short-term relief—we focus on sustainable development to ensure long-term stability for communities worldwide. Throughout Ramadan, UMR implements a range of impactful projects, including providing emergency food aid, building water wells in regions facing severe shortages, and delivering essential supplies like food, clothing, and cash vouchers to children and families in need.

We also prioritize responding to urgent emergencies, such as the situation in Gaza. Last year, our efforts were directed toward providing vital resources like emergency medicine, healthcare, food aid, hygiene kits, and more to the most vulnerable families in Gaza.

Every year, we strive to reach the most affected communities across the globe, with a particular focus on responding to ongoing emergencies during the Holy Month.
