UMR believes that Education is one of the most essential tools for growth in a child’s life.

Education is a human right—and a key to breaking cycles of poverty and conflict. UMR works to ensure that children and youth in crisis-affected settings can access inclusive, quality learning opportunities, even during emergencies.

School Enrollment Support

UMR covers tuition fees, uniforms, books, and transportation for children from low-income or displaced families. We prioritize girls, orphans, children with disabilities, and students who have dropped out due to poverty or conflict.

Early Childhood Development

We support early childhood education programs in Jordan, Yemen, and Sudan that focus on literacy, social-emotional skills, and school readiness. Our classrooms are safe, inclusive, and led by trained educators who understand the needs of young learners affected by trauma.

Remedial Education & Tutoring

Many displaced or vulnerable children face learning gaps. UMR offers tutoring, catch-up classes, and learning centers for out-of-school children, helping them transition back into formal education. We also work with parents and caregivers to support learning at home.

Vocational & Digital Skills

UMR provides older youth and adults with training in trades such as tailoring, IT, and solar panel installation. Our youth empowerment programs in Kenya, Jordan, and Somalia equip participants with marketable skills to increase employability and economic independence.

Inclusive Education

Every child deserves to learn. UMR ensures children with disabilities—including those with autism or hearing loss—have access to education through assistive technology, specialized support, and teacher training. We work with schools to create inclusive classrooms where all students can thrive.
